The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council Federal University Dutse Ahmed Alti has announced the appointment of Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed as the new Vice-Chancellor Federal university Dutse.
In a statement send to DAILY NIGERIAN, Mr Alti said 35 professors applied were shortlisted for interview and three best candidates emerged from which council chose Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed as the new VC.
The tenure of the incumbent VC, Professor Fatima Batul Muktar expires in February, 2021.
Mr Abdulkarim who is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Services of the University is a distinguished professor of Biotechnology.
