The Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, FUT, Minna, has appointed Abdullahi Bala as the new Vice Chancellor of the university.
The new Vice-Chancellor was the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the university between 2012-2016.
He was also a scientist at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, IITA, Kano-Nigeria between 2010 and 2012.
Mr Bala, a professor, holds Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, in Soil Microbiology from the University of London (1995 – 1999)
He also has a Master’s Degree in Soil Chemistry from the University of Reading (1992–1993)
His Bachelor’s Degree, was in the Ahmadu Bello University – Agriculture, 1985 – 1989.
