The 82 Division Nigerian Army has conducted successful medical outreaches at Nkwuagu-Amaagu community of Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and Nnarambia community in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of Imo State.
The gesture was in line with the scheduled and elaborate humanitarian activities associated with Exercise EGWU EKE 11, according to a statement by Sagir Musa, of the public relation section of 82 Division.
The same medical outreach would also be extensively carried out at Ozegu Inyi community in Orji River LGA of Enugu State on Tuesday 26th September 2017 between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ozegu Inyi Community Primary School.
“In addition to the provision of immediate medical support and services in dental, HIV counselling, laboratory, optometry areas, blood pressure measurements and free medicines/drugs among others, there will also be a generous donation of food items to the local people.
“The General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, AB Abubakar will flag off the exercise in the area indicated,” Mr Musa, a colonel, said in the statement.
