Some Nigerians have reacted to the nomination of Ladan Salihu, Aliyu U. Tilde, Aminu Gamawa, among 17 others by Governor Bala Mohammed as commissioners in Bauchi State.

Recall that on Thursday, Mr Mohammed had forwarded a 20-man list of commissioner nominees to the state’s House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Their portfolios would be announced after the screening.

The nominees are drawn from all the 20 the local government areas in the state.

However, some Nigerians, who are visibly happy over the development, took to their social media handles to express their feelings.

A media consultant at Atiku media organization, Na-Allah Mohammed-Zagga, commended the governor for nominating the trio of Messrs Ladan, Tilde and Gamawa, saying that, “these three gentlemen deserve these appointments in their own right.

“I’m pleased with the nomination of Dr. Aminu Hassan Gamawa, Dr. Ladan Salihu and Dr. Aliyu Tilde as Commissioners by the Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

“These three gentlemen deserve these appointments in their own right.

“No doubt, given their individual qualifications and tested experience, they would add value to good governance in Bauchi State. I wish them success in the discharge of this public responsibility,” Mr Mohammed-Zagga wrote on his Facebook page.

Another Facebook user, Usman Zakari Ibrahim, stated that these three nominees are by all standards, outstanding people from Bauchi State.

Particularly, according to him, Mr Tilde’s wealth of experience, patriotism and passion for education would be brought to bear in his new assignment.

He said: “These are, by all standards, outstanding people from Bauchi state. Dr Tilde’s wealth of experience, patriotism and passion for education will, hopefully, be brought to bear on Bauchi’s education sector.

“We will obviously miss Tilde’s public commentaries on different aspects of our national life, but I pray Allah help him carry out his assigned duties and make his impacts even more felt and directly more beneficial his people,” he added.
