The Screening and Verification Committee for workers employed by the immediate past administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has submitted its report to the state government.

Recall that following a controversy that trailed the recruitment of 10,800 workers by Mr Ganduje in the twilight of his administration, Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf, on August 16, constituted a fact-finding committee in the state.

The committee was mandated to ascertain the alleged flagrant abuse of civil service rules and nepotism in the recruitment process.
