Rescuers on Friday recovered the bodies of the five missing students who drowned in the Kaduna River on Wednesday.
Officials of the Kaduna State Emergency management Agency recovered the bodies with the support of the local divers.
The students had been on an excursion to a waterworks facility at the Kaduna River when a boat capsized.
Nine of them were said to have slipped into the River but only four where rescued alive.
The recovered bodies of the students have been deposited at the Saint Gerald Catholic Hospital in Kaduna.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the families, school and the people of Kaduna over the death of the young students.
Mr Muhari, in a statement by his media aide, Femi Adesina on Friday, described the incidence as tragic and called for a holistic investigation that would forestall the recurrence of similar incidence in the future.
Kaduna state deputy governor, Bala Bantex, who was at the scene of the incidence, also assured of a thorough investigation to unravel the cause of the capsize, that led to the drowning of the students.
