El-Rufai absent as Kaduna APC leaders pass vote of confidence on Gov. Uba Sani

The immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, is absent as the state executive council of the All Progressives Congress, APC, passed a vote of confidence in the administration of Governor Uba Sani.
DAILY NIGERIAN observed that apart from Mr El-Rufai, prominent leaders and elders of the party were in attendance.
Notable attendees include the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen; Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani; former Kaduna State governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and; the northwest chairman of the APC, Garba Datti.
Others are the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman; former deputy governor, James Bawa Magaji, serving and former members of the national assembly who are members of the party; and serving and former members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
The council, which unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Mr Sani, commended the governor’s rural transformation initiatives and exemplary youth and women’s empowerment programmes.
The council also reiterated their dedication to working for the unity of the state.
