The President of the Senate Bukola Saraki has expressed concerns over the aviation sector and has pledged to probe activities in the sector to ensure safety.
The President of the Senate was reacting to a tweet by a user Ola Brown @NaijaFlyingDr who wrote: “Flew Dana. Exit door was unstable throughout the flight. As we touched down it fell off. Scary stuff.”

Mr Saraki who took to his twitter handle @BukolaSaraki said that it was unacceptable for the door of an airplane to fall off at the point of landing.
The senate president, who replied the tweet said that it was unacceptable for such a thing to happen adding that the Senate will take it up to ensure it did not happen again.
“Thank the Almighty for your safe landing.
“The safety of passengers and conditions of aircrafts must be the primary concern of all airlines that are operating in Nigeria.
“An airline door falling off is unacceptable. We will take this up at the Senate. It must not happen again,” he said.
Other twitter users who responded to the tweet, including some who were actually on the said flight, urged the airliner to work on improving its services.
