There was palpable tension in Kano State Assembly complex on Tuesday as heavily armed security personnel comprising of Police and Civil Defence Corps.

It was gathered that the development might not be unconnected with today’s plenary where the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs is expected to submit its report on the amendment of Emirate Council Law 1984.
