They include those of the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps among other security agencies.
Bello Ahmed, the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, had earlier said on Monday, said that police personnel had been deployed to strategic locations in the state for the burial.
He said the police was collaborating with other security personnel to ensure that no law was breached during the burial.
Mr Akwe-Doma who died on March 6, in an Isreal hospital at 75 was the governor of the state between 2007 to 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The remains of the former governor arrived his hometown, Doma, headquarters of Doma Local Government Area at 10 a.m on Sunday the burial.
