The Senator representing Niger South, Muhammad Bima-Enagi has hailed the Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, on his 68th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that, Mr Abubakar, born on September 12, 1952, was enthroned in 2003 upon the death of Umar Sanda Ndayako.
Mr Bima-Enagi, in a birthday and coronation anniversary message on Friday, described the traditional ruler as a unifier and reformer guiding Nupe people to the “promised land”.
Mr Bima-Enagi said, “In utmost reverence, I would like to take this joyful opportunity to send my warmest wishes to Your Royal Highness, the Etsu Nupe, on your 68th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary.
“Your leadership has been guiding our people to the promised land, for which we all have been proud. You have been an indefatigable unifier and reformer.
“May Your Royal Highness continue to reign in sound health and more wisdom, may Allah always bestow His blessings upon Your Royal Highness and the Nupe people.”
