The Senate has suspended its plenary until after next month’s presidential elections, just as the lawmakers gave a speedy consideration to the National Minimum Wage, reaching first and second readings.
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, while making the announcement, said the decision was unanimously agreed by the lawmakers.
According to him, the Senate will resume on February 19.
