Youths of opposition Peoples Democratic Party have been putting pressure on Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central, to dump the All Progressive Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.
The pressure was reached in a joint statement signed by the National Coordinator of PDP National Youth League, Honourable Inioribo Tamunotonye and the National Publicity Secretary, Zainab Al-Amin.
The statement read: “Having reflected on the activities of Senator Shehu Sani, we are of the view that the distinguished senator has no business in APC, a party that turned around to betray him for serving his people and the people of Nigeria through effective representation.
“Rather than reward and appreciate Shehu Sani for his people-oriented position and representation, his party, APC has never failed to undermine and frustrate him at any given forum.
“They have turned him into an internally displaced Politician (I.D.P) of sought simply because he chose to align with his people instead of serving president Buhari and his failed administration.
“The APC has continued to persecute Senator Sani over his decision to align with the people of Kaduna state in this difficult period they have been experiencing under evil Governor Nasir El-Rufai and his band of sycophants,” the statement concluded.
