Unknown gunmen have reportedly invaded the Edo State House of Assembly, chasing away some lawmakers and shooting sporadically in the air after the impeachment of Deputy Speaker, Victor Edoror.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the gunmen who are allegedly loyal to the speaker were on a prowl to barricade the purported move by the All Progressives Congress, APC lawmakers to impeach the Speaker of the House, Hon Kabiru Adjoto.
So far, three persons have been injured in the fracas, and two lawmakers of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, M. D. Igbas and Hon Iluobe were seen running for their lives with their security personnel.
