A suicide bomber has attacked a cattle market on Monday in Maiduguri, killing himself, an accomplice and injuring others, Daily Nigerian reliability gathered.
Witnesses said the bomber, who struck the Kasuwan Shanu market in the central district of Kasuwa, died on the spot.
DSP Victor Isuku, Borno State Police Command spokesman confirmed the incident, saying no details of any other casualties as at the time of filing in this report.
A witness said a number of people had been injured.
