Three suspected suicide bombers have killed themselves after one of them detonated an explosive device by stationary fuel tankers early Friday morning along Damboa Road Maiduguri.
Two fuel tankers were burnt to ashes as a result of the explosion.
The spokesperson to the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, North-East, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, disclosed that the bodies of the three suicide bombers have been evacuated by emergency workers.
“The fire has been brought under control while casualty evacuation has been concluded,” he said.
PRNigeria gathered that no other person was affected in the explosion.
