The management of Arik Air on Monday apologised to its customers whose travel plans were disrupted by the picketing of operations by some Aviation unions on September 14.
Normal flight operations have resumed at the Port Harcourt International Airport after three days of closure following a bush fire.
Cecilia Oguama, Airport Manager, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on Wednesday said the airport was crucial to the economy of the South-East states.
Domestic airlines operating in Nigeria recorded 36,350 cases of delayed flights between January and December 2018, according to figures released by the Consumer Protection Department of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA.
Mr Omokide said, “We are very clear as to our roles in Arik Air.
Mr Ola said Arik Air had reported both incidents to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, in line with standard operating procedure and the airline’s high safety standards.
