A famous Kano hotelier and industrialist, Tahir Fadlallah, has been buried in Kano on Saturday.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that late Fadlallah, aged 74, died in Beirut, Lebanon on Friday morning.
The funeral prayer was led by the commander-general, Kano State Hisbah Board, Haroun Ibn-Sina, at 3:30pm at the Kano Emir’s Palace.
The state deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna, and other government functionaries were in attendance.
After the funeral prayer, late Fadlallah’s body was taken to Lebanese Cemetery at Hajj Camp area in the Kano metropolis.
Born on February 5, 1948 in Beirut, Lebanon, the late Fadlallah settled in Kano with his parents when he was two years old.
The late hotelier, who left behind a wife and five children, had left in his will that wherever he died, his body should be buried in Kano.
