Timaya, MI, others for UNIZIK Glo Campus Storm

Glo Campus Storm staged by Globacom, last Friday, stormed the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State in the seventh edition of the exhilarating show.

The Awka concert paraded top-rated artistes, including Timaya who is fondly addressed by his fans as Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa; dancehall star, Runtown; Jude Abaga widely known as MI, Mr. Incredible and new music merchant, Asterix.

Humourist, Gordons compered the show, while DJ Tops scratched the jukebox.
The show has already been staged in six universities in the last six weeks during which students and other residents of the university communities had a swell time with star artistes that Globacom contracted for the various shows. It is a loyalty reward show, which was conceptualised to excite the student populace across Nigeria.

One of the highlights of the show was a contest of brains and brawn during which10 students, five males and five females, won N100, 000 in the ‘Glo Campus Dude’ and ‘Glo Campus Diva’ beauty pageant.
