President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dennis Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP and Dakorinama George as the director-general, Border Communities Development Agency, BCDA.
This is contained in a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Thursday in Abuja.
Mr Ngelale said ”the new PAP administrator holds a PhD in Comparative Politics & Development Studies; an MSc in Public Administration, and a BSc in Education.”
He said Mr Otuaro had served as a top-level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission with varied experiences across multiple sectors, including infrastructure development, security, environmental remediation, as well as oil and gas.
According to him, Mr George, the new director-general of the BCDA, holds a PhD in Construction Management; an MSc in Quantity Surveying and Construction Engineering, and a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying.
”He is a fellow of the Certified Institute of Practising Professionals, USA; a fellow of the Association of Strategy Professionals, USA, and a member of other distinguished associations.
”George is a former commissioner for works in Rivers State.”
Mr Ngelale said that the president anticipated that the new appointees would bring their requisite experiences and know-how to this role to revamp the two organisations and advance the realisation of its founding purpose and vision.
