A former vice president and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, will address a world press conference on Thursday.
This was disclosed in a post by the former director of strategic communications of the PDP presidential campaign council, Dele Momodu, on his X handle on Wednesday.
Although Mr Momodu did not disclose the reason for the press conference, it may not be unconnected to the release of the academic records of President Bola Tinubu to the former vice president by the Chicago State University,CSU.
On Monday, the university released at least 32 documents relating to the academic records of Mr Tinubu to the lawyers of Mr Abubakar in compliance with an order from a United States court.
Mr Abubakar had requested the documents to support his allegation of certificate forgery against the president.
Mr Momodu wrote: “BREAKING: H.E Atiku Abubakar will host an international press conference tomorrow, 5th Oct 2023.
“It will be streamed on his social media platforms and be covered live by both international and local media networks.”
