All is set for the Edo State Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs to observe a one-day fasting and prayer seeking God’s intervention in the leadership crisis within the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
DAILY NIGERIAN recalls that Governor Godwin Obaseki and the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, had been at loggerheads over political differences, a development that caused ruckus and divide within the party supporters in the state.

The chairman of the Edo State Traditional Council, the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II declared Monday, January 2, 2020 as the day of the fasting.
The chairman, therefore, enjoined the entire kingdom to also support the efforts of the royal fathers, “as prayers are never too much and nobody knows whose prayers Almighty accepts.”
