The US president, Donald Trump, has expressed his readiness to support Nigeria acquire aircraft to fight Boko Haram terrorists.
According to the readout of Mr Trump’s telephone call with President Muhammadu Buhari published on White House website, the American president expressed interest in working with the Nigerian leader to entrench partnership between the two countries.

President Trump underscored the importance the United States places on its relationship with Nigeria, and he expressed interest in working with President Buhari to expand the strong partnership.
The leaders agreed to continue close coordination and cooperation in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria and worldwide.
