Theophilus Danjuma, the Chairman, Presidential Committee on Victims Support Fund, VSF, on Tuesday, inaugurated the N1.355bn to construct international model secondary school and college of preliminary and remedial studies in Takum, Taraba state.
Performing the ceremony on Tuesday, Mr Danjuma, a retired lieutenant-general, thanked the management of the Victims Support Fund for approving the fund for the project located in his hometown.
He said the fund was raised by individuals, the private sector and government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to alleviate the sufferings of the victims of terror.

He charged the people of Taraba to take advantage of the school for the advancement of education in the state.
Earlier in his address, the Executive Secretary of the Fund, Prof. Sunday Ochoche said the project was the single largest one funded by the VSF.
Mr Ochoche who disclosed that the school was renamed from Government Secondary School, GSS, Takum to its present status, noted that “VSF strives to continue to impact on lives”.
Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba in his remarks thanked the VSF for choosing Taraba to benefit from the intervention program.
He gave the assurance that the institution would be utilised to improve the quality of education among youths of the state.
