Zamfara state governor, Bello Muhammad says his administration will employ 8,000 youths on special project to reduce unemployment in the state.
He also promised to pay civil servants outstanding leave grants owed them by the statement government with immediate effect.
The Governor was speaking on a live phone-in programme “zuwa da kai” on Zamfara State Radio this evening.
Answering a question, he swore to reverse the unilateral decision taken by the previous administration for the Unity Bank Plc to auction properties of the state government.
“There is a bank that claims that the state government owes it the sum of N6 billion,” he alleged while vowing to repay the money to save the properties from being auctioned.
