A controversial Kannywood Actress, Rahama Sadau, has released a video seeking forgiveness over blasphemous comments on some pictures she had shared on her social media page.

Recall that the actress has been trending on various social media platforms, after posting what could be described as racy pictures of her on her page.

At Twitter, ‘Assistant Allah’ hashtag has been trending in which adherents of Islam and Christianity have been insulting each other over the pictures.

In the 3-minute video, which the embattled actress share on her social media pages on Tuesday, Ms Sadau wept in remorse over the blasphemous comments which drew the ire of many Muslims.

Speaking in Hausa Language, Ms Sadau condemned the comments, saying: “Going by what is going on around the world, I know that we are in a situation where war is being waged against Muslims and the religion itself.”

“We all know what is going on in France. I for one have been condemning the seeming gang up against Muslims through all my social media handles.

“I therefore have no intention to join the fray of these lunatics abusing my religion.

“Be that as it may, I take responsibility for all that my post has caused. I therefore seek for forgiveness because this incident hurts me more than any other person,” she added.

She therefore, sought forgiveness from her fans, film industry and the entire Hausa ethnic group.
