Kano State government said it will continue to provide Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB forms to all indigent students of the state who meet the requirements to further their studies.
In a statement, the Public Relations Officer, State Ministry for Higher Education Sunusi Kofar-Naisa, quoted the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Binta Bala, as saying.
According to the statement, the permanent secretary made the commitment at the speech and Prize-Giving Day ceremony of Cairo International School, held in Kano on Saturday.

He said that Mrs Bala, who stressed the importance of education, urged parents to contribute their quota in ensuring their wards acquire sound education.
The permanent secretary, according to Mr Kofar-Naisa, then congratulated the management, parents and students of the school for their achievements, assuring them of government support.
Earlier, the Director of the school, Aisha Yusuf, said the school offer sound education and moral values to its students.
She also thanked the state government for its commitments towards supporting the education sector, as well as creating enabling environment for private schools to operate in the state.
