The Yobe State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Potiskum, Gashua, and Nguru local government areas of the state after some hoodlums hijacked the ongoing nationwide protest.

The special adviser to Governor Mai Mala Buni on security matters, Dahiru Abdussallam, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

He said the curfew would be fully enforced until normalcy in the affected areas.
