The Zamfara Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has elected new executive officers to run the affairs of the association in the next two years.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Sunday by the outgoing chairman of the association, Dr Sanusi Bello.
Mr Bello said new executive officers for NMA Zamfara chapter have emerged following a successful 2024 Annual General Meeting, AGM and election held on Saturday, August 10.
He said the new exco included Dr Ibrahim Jibril-Hano, who clinched the position of chairman; Dr Mohammed Murtala-Salahu, vice chairman; while Dr Hussaini Haruna was elected secretary of the association.
According to him, others are Dr Patrick Okoli, assistant secretary; Dr Aminu Alhazzai, treasurer; Dr Ogunbuyide Oluwadare, public relations officer; Dr Abdul-Azeez Samaila, welfare secretary; while Dr Sanusi Bello would serve as ex-officio.
While congratulating the new executive officers, Mr Bello charged them to work hard to ensure transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
