Court dismisses rape allegation against COZA pastor, orders Dakolo to pay N1m damages Fatoyinbo

The Bwari Division of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court dismissed the rape allegation case filed by Busola Dakolo against Biodun Fatoyinbo, the pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

In his ruling on Thursday, the presiding judge, Oathman Musa, said the was statute-barred because it happened decades ago.

According to him, the charges should have been brought within the permitted six years.

The judge, therefore, dismissed Ms Fatoyinbo’s case as a waste and abuse of judicial process.

Mr Musa also awarded a N1 million in damages to Mr Fatoyinbo.
