Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kano, Abba Yusuf, have besieged the streets in jubilation ahead of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declaration of results for today’s governorship and State Assembly Elections.
Our correspondent gathered that youths in their dozens were seen playing stunts with motorcycles on the streets of the state’s metropolis in the astonishing glare of many other PDP supports.

It was gathered that the PDP candidate is leading with a wide margin in the ongoing exercise in the state.
According to the report, following the PDP candidate closely is the incumbent governor, Abdullahi Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
However, results were still being collated as at the time of filing this report. Therefore, no official results were released by the electoral empire in the state.
