Wrestling legend, The Undertaker, has officially retired on Sunday night after about three decades of gracing the WWE ring.
The 55-year-old had previously admitted to having “nothing left to accomplish” in the ring while announcing his retirement in June during the last episode of his documentary series ‘The Last Ride.’
Mr Taker whose real name is Mark William Calaway made his final appearance as The Undertaker at the WWE Survivor Series on Sunday night.
He said: “For 30 long years I’ve made that slow walk to this ring and have laid people to rest time and time again.
“And now my time has come. My time has come to let The Undertaker rest in peace.”
His emotional farewell speech was highlighted by the appearance of a hologram of his late former rival and funeral director Bearer on the screen.
Mr Taker’s Bearer whose real name is William Alvin “Bill” Moody passed away in 2013.
Following the match between Roman Reigns and Drew McMahon, the likes of John Cena, Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin all weighed in on Undertaker’s legacy left on the sport.
They were joined by stars Shane McMahon, The Big Show, JBL, Jeff Hardy, Mick Foley, The Godfather, The Godwins, Savio Vega, Rikishi, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Triple H – as well as half-brother Kane.
