Sadiya Adam Idris is one lady in Kannywood that most directors and producers allegedly kept falling over each other to take to bed.
Besides that, according to an industry insider, Sadiya was indeed the toast of many suitors because of her ‘massive’ hips and sexy eyes.
Because of this, the source alleged that producers always featured her in their high-budget films and paid her more than other popular actresses in Kannywood and, before you knew it, she became famous and popular in the industry.
“However, character-wise, Sadiya is religious. She is probably the only Kannywood female actress that can recite the Holy Qur’an from beginning to the end.
“When Sadiya came to Kano about 4 years ago, she met one young Kano businessman, Sanusi Ahmad, whose father is the Ciroma of Kantin Kwari and the Ward Head of Unguwar Rijiya Biyu in Kano metropolis.
“Sunusi Ahmad rented a very big apartment for Sadiya Adam and furnished it to her test. He also bought her an expensive car.
“In fact at some time, her friends in Kannywood were envying her because of how she made it within a short period of time.
“However, Sadiya never got swerved by these sentiments. Instead, she had always made it clear that she came to Kano with intentions to join Kannywood, make money, become a celebrity and then settle down as a house-wife.
“Apparently, God has answered her prayers and has got all she wanted.
“Initially, Sadiya and Ahmad had proposed November 17, 2017, for their wedding, but could not hold because along the line, she fell into a serious relationship with another Kannywood lover-boy, Ramadan Booth.
“The young man completely dominated her love life that had nearly destroyed her proposed marriage.
“However, when the pressure was too much on Sadiya, she agreed that the marriage should take place on 1 April 2018.
“But again, the proposed marriage ran into another hitch because a family source told this writer that the parents of the groom insisted that over their dead body for their son to marry a lady from Kannywood,” the source added.
Another source told yours sincerely that the parents of Sadiya too were not comfortable with the Ahmad because they wanted her to go back to Maiduguri and marry from their family.
Reportedly, this uncertainty compelled Sadiya to run to Maiduguri and refused to communicate with anybody.
Much later, rumours started flying within the industry that the marriage would still hold on 1 April as her close friends were seen preparing day and night for the wedding.
“Accordingly, the wedding Fatiha took place at Umar Bin-Khattab mosque by Dangi Round About, Kano, and the following day, the bride hosted her friends to a reception at a hall on Magajin Rumfa Road Nassarawa Quarters.
“Almost all the new and old Kannywood ladies attended the reception. The following day again, there was another reception called ‘wushe–wushe’.
“This is a type of reception normally hosted by Borno people during a wedding where they prepare a variety of local foods for the guest.
“The reception too was well attended by her friends, parents and her husband was also in attendance.
“When Sadiya finally moved to her husband’s house, she posted on her Instagram page that her friends and well-wishers should pray for her so that her marriage would be successful,” the source pointed out.
But some close associates of Sadiya told this writer that some producers and directors are praying hard for the marriage to crash as soon as possible because she is one actress that whenever directors feature her in their films the films sell well.
According to the source, they don’t want to miss her in the industry.
