The Kano State Gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of Green Party of Nigeria, GPN, Abdulsalami Abdulkareem Zaura, on Wednesday, extended his felicitations with the Muslims on the occasion of Ramadan as the holy month begins.
A statement personally signed by the Kano Guber hopeful, called on all the Muslims to be committed, dedicated and Prayerful during the fasting period.
According to him, the season calls for sober reflection and imbibition of the spirit of giving out to the needy and the less-privileged in the society.
“During this Holy month, I advise all Nigerian Muslims and Christians to eat together, feed the needy and pray for our beloved country.
“I equally want to urge the Muslim ummah to seize this opportunity to pray to Allah Ta’ala to bring an end to the insurgency and the unrest in different parts of the country, and the world at large.
“May this Ramadan period bring unity amongst us, build harmonious relationships with one another,” Mr Zaura said.
